“As a boy, I loved drawing… but dismissed it as a distraction from my studies. Only after a doctorate, four degrees, building a law firm, and teaching law across continents, did I decide I had the time to devote to the art that my heart yearned for… I hope this post inspires someone reading to not wait so long #painting #bucketlist”

His first painting, a bucket-list item ticked: a Mediterranean terrace at sunset, a terracotta pot of white flowers, a vine, and mountains over the sea, painted from a reference on his iPad in Istanbul after about seven hours of lessons with his teacher, Ismail Yanar (@ismailyanar.art). His teacher wrote: "We started from scratch, and we're only seven hours into our painting sessions. It's wonderful to see how far Feras has come in such a short time. Their dedication and eagerness to learn shine through in every brushstroke." On the reel, Nada wrote: "I love seeing you enjoying your hobby."
