Insert Fuel on your phone

Two ways to do it. The first takes thirty seconds.

1

The quick way

works right now

Puts the icon on your home screen. It opens like an app, and nothing needs approving. Most people should start here.

  1. 1.Open beta.insertfuel.com/appon your phone — this page knows what to do once it's there.
  2. 2.On a computer, look for the small install icon at the right-hand end of the address bar.
2

The real app

everything below works

A proper app, installed like any other. This is the one that can ring for calls, put widgets on your home screen and take a share from any other app.

iPhone — nearly readyApple hands out early builds through an app called TestFlight. Install that from the App Store now and the invite will work the moment it lands.
AndroidDownloads a file. Tap it when it finishes, and say yes if your phone asks whether to allow it.

What the real app does that a web page can't

The shortcut in step 1 is still a web page wearing an icon. These need the real thing.

Calls that ring like calls

Full screen, their name and face, answerable from the lock screen — because it uses the same system a normal call does. No link, no waiting room.

Stay on a call when you switch apps

Check a message mid-call and keep talking. A web page gets frozen the moment you look away, which is why calls drop today.

Share anything into it

From Safari, Instagram, Messages — anywhere with a share button. It lands as a note, task, event, chat message or a post to your community.

Four panels on your home screen

Today's tasks with real checkboxes, your next meetings, recent notes, money in and out. Tick a task without opening anything.

Notifications with faces

A message shows the person who sent it, not a logo. You know whether to pick the phone up before you pick it up.

Face ID, and it works on a plane

No password to remember, and your work is stored on the phone, so it opens instantly and reads fine with no signal.

Something looks wrong?

Tap your own photo in the top corner, then Report a bug. Take a screenshot inside the report. “This feels slow” is a real report — you don't have to work out why.
