Coach, Insert Fuel
Basim Mousilli is the founder of Insert Fuel. He finds where a business is stuck, builds the thing that unsticks it, and hands it back so the owner does not have to run it. Twenty years of enterprise technology behind him, and these days he still takes the first call himself. Twenty years of enterprise technology work sit behind that. He built a fully automated digital oilfield from the ground up for Brunei Shell Petroleum, delivered under budget and ahead of schedule, and it took first place as the first of its kind. At Halliburton he sold and delivered automation and analytics software across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, North Africa and Asia Pacific. At Accenture he led digital transformation programs with teams of twenty to fifty people. The work took him to Houston, Dubai, Nigeria, Brunei and Canada, and the pattern held in every one of them: the technology was rarely the hard part, the process around it was. Insert Fuel applies that to smaller companies, who have the same problems and none of the enterprise budget. The measures are the ones an owner actually watches. More leads captured, more of them converting, less time lost to work a system should be doing, and money collected sooner. His philosophy is Let Go Boss, which is the argument that a business only scales once the owner stops being the bottleneck. Handing a job you have always done by hand over to a system is uncomfortable, and it is also the only way out of the day to day.
